So all the years I've known you, and I never knew you were a Cure fan. They're pretty much my favorite band. I guess you learn something new every day. Keep up the good work Richie.
hey, hey Richie! hope things are going well for you, and from your updates, it seems that they are.
you asked me before via Facebook what I thought of your new website. I wasn't able to go into it then, but I've thought about it some more since then, and here it is: it LOOKS really good!
the only issue I have with it, is that under the subheading "people", you state that the vision of Legacy is "positive life change". did Jesus die for "positive life change"? as a result of the Gospel, most, if not all, of the Apostles experienced NEGATIVE life change. They were martyred. The Gospel is divisive (Matt 10:21, Mark 13:12).
Jesus died because we are SINNERS and opposed to God. Through FAITH in Him we are justified. By FAITH alone through Christ ALONE we are saved!
The fact is that many, MANY, "Christians" have experienced negative life change as a result of this Gospel. Some have lost their families, and their marriages, and some their livelihood, and some their LIVES for the Gospel of Christ.
my prayer for your church is that your vision will be to preach the Gospel of Christ ABOVE all else to the people of Leigh Valley.
